The first crucial step before you want to reuse your candle jars is to properly remove all the wax inside! Always try to remove all wax residue before personalizing and giving new life to your containers.
To do this, nothing could be simpler: get some boiling water, pour it to the top of your jar and wait a few minutes. After a few moments, the magic happens! The wax solidifies on the top surface of your candle, and you can remove it all with a cloth. All you have to do is clean it all well with a sponge, and always with hot water. Little tip: never pour wax residue down your sinks! It could clog your pipes... Preferably, use your toilet, it will save you trouble!
Turn your candle jars into flower pots
The flower lover in me (and in many of us, I know) couldn't help but think this idea was brilliant! And I'm sure I'm not the only one! How about transforming your candle containers into flower pots? Or a small terrarium? 🌸
You can simply add small flowers, fresh or dried, and what can I say that with the paint pots, it will make a stunning decoration! A stylish decoration that will make all your guests jealous, I'm sure of it 👀
But why stop there, really? If you want to go further, you can also take the opportunity to grow a small plant in your candle jars. A small plant that will only grow... without being rushed.
